Nina Persson has been conscripted to design a capsule collection for Swedish fashion line Hope. Does the name sound familiar? It should, as Persson is the singer for alternative-pop darlings The Cardigans. The cut-and-paste lookbook preview is a nice touch, and the pieces are a sort of throwback to the 1930s, with pieces inspired by those found in Persson’s own closet. As a rule, celebrity lines do pretty poorly, but this one is sitting nicely with us.
